     Castle of Karlštejn – medieval castle, built in 14. century for the safe keeping of Coronation

     Jewels and relics of saints. This castle is situated about 35 km from  Prague.

 

     Castle of Konopiště – it was founded in the 14. century and reconstructed at the end of

    19. century by the successor to Habsburg throne Francis Ferdinand d’Este, who was assassinated

     in Sarajevo 1914.

 

     Kutná Hora – this historical town with many monuments is situated about 65 km from Prague.

     It was founded in 13. century and became the second most important town in Bohemia after

    Prague. The city was famous for silver mining. Kutná Hora was declared a world heritage and

     is protected by UNESCO. 

 

     Bath triangle – health resorts in West Bohemia: Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně and Františkovy Lázně.

 

    Karlovy Vary – is the most famous spa town in the Czech Republic. It was founded by the Czech

    and Roman Emperor Charles IV.  in 14. century. There are 12 mineral springs here with the temperature

    of 30°- 70°C. International film festival takes place here , in Karlovy Vary are the best porcelain and 

    glass works. Here you will find also the producer of famous „13. spring“, that is herb liqueur Becherovka.

 

 

    Austerlitz – Battlefield famous for battle of three emperors in December 1805 – French emperor Napoleon I,

    Russian tsar Alexander and Austrian emperor Franz.    Here you will find the monument to the victims of the

    battle of Austerlitz, the battlefield visitor’ centre with the exhibition of the “Battle of the three emperors”,

    the Post-house (Stará Posta) – a unique historical monument, preserved its features for classical architecture

    from the late 18th century. It has played an important role in the battle of three emperors. You can taste here

    the atmosphere of 1805, with groups of soldiers in period uniforms, observe the forging of replica weapons

    and taste the delicacies in the post-house restaurant, cooked after original Moravian recipes. Wine-lovers

   can taste the delicious Moravian wine in the wine cellar of the post-house restaurant.

    Telč - Beautiful historical town in South Moravia, surrounded by lakes and woods with a very rich fauna.

    It´s  an ideal place for hunters, admirers of beautiful nature,  mushroom-pickers admirers of monuments and

    also of winter sports. The historical centre of this town is a beautiful illustration of Gothic-Renaissance style.

    Its singular value has been estimated by registration on UNESCO list of world monuments.

    Český Krumlov is the most important monumental reservation of South Bohemia with preserved complex

    of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings. This town has been registered on list of world monuments

    of UNESCO. It will be called also "little Prague". It is surrounded by a very beautiful nature. It you will visit

    Terezín - a fortress, built in the 2. half of 18. century by empress Marie Therese and her son Joseph II in North

    Bohemia. From the year 1942 this fortress had a function of prison of Gestapo and later as concentration camp

    and Jewish ghetto. The Malá pevnost (Little Fortress) is today a National Monument, dedicated to martyred

    prisoners of the Second World War.
